Join us for a fully immersive day retreat of Forest Bathing, Therapeutic Arts and Sound Therapy, brought to you by Dorset based Artist Tania Ware (Wild Fern Studio), Sound Healer Suzanne York (New Forest Mystic)and Forest Bathing Practitioner Tara Reeves (Enerchi with Tara) all within the stunning grounds of The Retreat New Forest.
Get into your flow, play freely with your ideas and let your creativity flourish in this sensory experience designed to help you reset, rebalance, and connect with nature.
The day will include:
Forest Bathing - A mindfulness practice designed to help you reconnect with nature by slowing down, being present and tapping into your senses. You will gather inspiration from nature for your creative activities.
Morning Break - A selection of Teas, Coffee and Sweet Treats
Botanical Collage Workshop - You will be guided to create a framed Botanical Collage using a selection of carefully chosen materials and artistic mediums. Creating mindful art whilst listening to soothing sounds of nature and surrounded by the scent of floral aromas.
Lunch - A delicious freshly prepared, seasonal lunch at the Colin Nash Restaurant
Guided Meditation - A Guided nature themed meditation journey to relax and inspire you in preparation for your pottery session.
Pottery Workshop - Working with the earth (clay and botanicals) and traditional handbuilding pottery techniques you'll create an everlasting ceramic dish. Working with plants and flowers you'll imprint a unique design with the option to stamp and carve meaningful words or mantras. This therapeutic session will be accompanied by the soundsand scents of nature.
Sound Bath - At the end of the day you will be treated to a soothing sound bath, whilst cocooned in your blanket you'll experience the deep vibrations of crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, gongs and percussion instruments, relaxing your body and calming your mind, leaving you feeling lighter and brighter.
What to Bring:
Suitable clothing for an outdoor walk and creating in (aprons will be provided)
Comfort - Please bring a yoga mat, a pillow, and a blanket for your comfort during the session. Extra pillows and blankets are recommended for those needing additional support.
A water bottle to keep you hydrated throughout the day.
